Lovely Worcester porcelain waisted cream jug with a shanked body, shaped rim rising to a curved spout and raised strap handle with inner spur. Decorated with a band of mazarine blue with gilded pattern around the shoulders, inside the spout and a smaller band around the base. The main body is decorated with gilded insects and floral sprigs.
Marked with a small open crescent, early Flight period, c.1790.
It measures 11cm (4 3/8") high, 12.5cm (4 7/7") spout to handle and 8cm (3 1/8") wide.
ondition is excellent with no damage or repair and no discernible surface wear.
