A very nice Worcester spiral fluted tea bowl and saucer decorated with a mazarine blue rim border to the saucer and inside the cup with gilded corn ears and dots. A husk pattern outer border to the tea bowl and inner to the saucer and 3 bellflowers to each piece also all in mazarine blue and gold. A stylised chrysanthemum flower sits in the centre of both pieces.
Flight period, c.1785, both pieces marked with a small crescent.
The saucer measures 13.5cm (5 1/4") wide and 3cm (1 1/8") high and the tea bowl measures 8.5cm (3 3/8") wide and 5cm (2") high.
Condition is very good with no damage or repair, both pieces ping nicely. Surface wear is very light, just a little to the rim of the bowl.
