Very pretty Worcester large tea bowl and saucer, c.1790. A shanked body to the bowl and matching to the inside of the saucer. Painted with gilded bands and gilded sprays alternating with tall spiked of red flowers on branched green stems.
The bowl measures 2 3/8" wide and 2 1/4" high. The saucer is 5 3/8 wide and 1 1/4" high.
Condition is very good; no damage bar a small frit to the foot and another to the rim of the bowl, a little rubbing to gilt here and there.
