Pretty early 19th century Worcester Barr, Flight & Barr period coffee can with ring handle, c.1807-1813. Lovely bold frieze running around the upper section of stylised leaves in rich purple and green enamels interspersed with gilded leaves and flowers, framed within gilded bands and further slim gold band near the base and gilded feathers and dots down the handle.
Impressed BFB under crown mark.
It measures 6cm (2 3/8") high, 6cm (2 3/8") rim to rim and 8.5cm (3 3/8") rim to handle.
Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Light surface wear to the enamels, the gilding on the very top of the rim has been rubbed to a section on one side.
