Pretty early 19th century Worcester Barr, Flight & Barr period coffee can with ring handle, c.1807-1813. Lovely bold frieze running around the upper section of stylised leaves in rich red and green enamel with black enamel fine feathery fronds and stems interspersed with gilded twigs, framed within gilded bands and further slim gold band near the base and gilded flowers and dots down the handle.
Impressed BFB under crown mark.
It measures 6cm (2 3/8") high, 6cm (2 3/8") rim to rim and 8.5cm (3 3/8") rim to handle.
Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Surface wear is light, mainly just to the gilding on the very top of the rim.
