A very pretty Barr, Flight and Barr porcelain London shape tea cup and saucer with a striking turquoise ground and ornate gilt frieze with gilded rims and handle. Impressed marks to both, c.1812.
The cup measures 5.5cm (2 1/8") high to the rim and 8.7cm (3 3/8") rim to rim. the saucer measures 14.3cm (5 5/8") wide and 2.6cm (1").
Condition is very good with no damage or repair. A bit of gilt wear to the rim of the saucer and a very small amount to the gilt in the centre of the saucer.
