Very pretty early 19th century Worcester coffee cup, c.1810, the Barr, Flight & Barr period. Based on a bute cup shape with a break in the profile just below the ring handle. Beautifully painted in an ornate pattern in the imari palette with gilded highlights.
Incised B mark to the base.
It measures 4 1/4" 911cm) rim to handle, 3 5/8" (8.5cm) rim to rim and 2 1/2" (6.5cm) high.
Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration. Surface wear is very light, just a little wear to the gilding at a small section of the rim.
