A pretty first period Worcester porcelain coffee cup with concave fluted walls and a Meissen style split twisted handle. Painted in polychrome enamels in the Dragon In Compartments pattern (also known as the Bengal Tiger) with small gilt accents and gilt detail to the handle and rim. Fretted square mark to the base, c.1770.
It measures 5.7cm (2 1/4") high and 6.5cm (2 1/2") rim to rim.
In good condition: there is a short hairline at the rim. No other damage, repair or restoration. Some wear to the gilt on the rim but minimal handling wear otherwise
