Very pretty first period Worcester porcelain tea bowl & saucer, c.1765. Finely painted in polychrome enamels with a varied frieze of garden flowers and foliage in a ring around the bowl and saucer. A central floral spray to both the saucer and inside the bowl. Gilded rims and bands around the centre of the saucer and top of the bowl foot.
The saucer measures 12cm (4 5/8") wide and 2.5cm (1") high and the bowl is 7.5cm (2 7/8") wide and 4.5cm (1 3/4") high.
Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and minimal surface wear.
