Very pretty 18th century Worcester porcelain cream jug in the tall form of the "Chelsea ewer" shape. Wrythen formed body with stylised leaf moulded detail around the base, shaped rim and double scrolled fluted handle. Painted in polychrome floral enamels in the famille rose style with a puce scale painted border inside the edge and gilded rim.
It measures 9cm (3 1/2") high, 12cm (4 3/4") spout to handle and 7cm (2 3/4") wide.
Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration. Minimal wear to the enamels, some rubbing to the gilded rim. There are 2 small firing lines either side of the upper terminal.
