Pretty early Worcester plate with moulded basket weave texture to the edge, lobed and gilded rim and painted in "dry blue" enamels with sprays of garden flowers, c.1775.
It measures 20.5cm (8 1/8") wide and 3.2cm (1 1/4") deep.
Condition is very good; there is a very small repair to a glaze chip at the edge but no other damage or restoration. There is some light surface wear from age and use.
