Code: FA1363
A lovely early Worcester porcelain cream jug or small sauce boat, with a hexagonal base and flared sides with fluted shaped rim and generous spout. Beautiful, delicate relief moulded decoration to the walls, and an ornate, double scrolled handle with raised thumb rest. Beautifully painted with floral sprays in lovely, rich enamels. Unmarked, c.1755.
It measures 10.5cm (4 1/8") spout to handle, 7.4cm (2 7/8") wide and 5.7cm (2 1/4") high.
In very good condition: there has been a professional repair to the handle, this appears to just be a clean repair with the porcelain original and carefully airbrushed in to hide the joins. It displays perfectly. No other issues and minimal handling wear.
