First Period Worcester Porcelain Sevres Style Fluted Tea Cup c.1775

A pretty Worcester fluted tea cup decorated in the Sevres style with an underglaze blue border over gilded with a dentil rim, replicated inside also and an ornate frieze of interlocking arabesques. Turquoise and black enamel swagged garlands and pendants run around the body and as a straight band above the foot, and fine gilt decoration in vertical ribbon type swags and arabesque borders. A finely painted urn sits inside the base. Open crescent mark, c.1775.

It measures 8.3cm (3 1/4") rim to rim and 4.5cm (2 3/4") high. 

Condition: it has a slither chip on the inside of the rim covering one flute. No other damage, repair or restoration and minimal handling wear. Two small nicks to the foot from manufacture.
