Really lovely large first period Worcester sauce boat in a variant of the "silver" shape with lots of fine relief moulded decoration of scrolls, flowers, fans, etc. and a superbly ornate moulded handle. Hand painted in the rarely found The Fisherman On A Towering Rock pattern, c.1755, see Worcester Blue & White Porcelain 1751-1790, Branyan, French & Sandon, page 92, plate I.B.13, classed as "Rare".
It measures 23cm (9") long, 10cm (4") wide and 10cm (4") high.
Condition is excellent, bar a tiny nick to the spout there is no damage or restoration. A few small orange marks inside and only a couple of small patches of firing dots.
