First Period Worcester lobed circular plate painted in underglaze blue with the Rubber Tree Plant pattern, c.1775. With decorative branches and pseudo Chinese marks to the reverse as is specific to this pattern. Referenced in Worcester Blue & White Porcelain 1751-1790, Branyan, French & Sandon, section I.E.47, classed as "uncommon".

It measures 18.5cm (7 1/4") wide 3.5cm (1 3/8") high.

Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and surface wear is minimal but there is a tiny 2mm glaze loss to the rim, mentioned specifically as the only slight imperfection. A very nice example.
