Very nice early Worcester porcelain teapot with feather moulded detail to the body and cover and painted with the feather moulded floral pattern, c.1760.0
Workman's mark. Reference Brandon, French & Sandon, plate I.E.6.
It measures 18cm (7 1/8") long, 10.8cm (4 1/4") wide and 12.7cm (5") high.
Condition is very good; there is a small chip on the inside of the flange under the cover, a small, very neat area of professional restoration at the tip of the spout and a fine hairline in the glaze to the rim, not extending below the rise.
