A charming first period Worcester porcelain coffee cup with grooved handle, printed with the Fisherman and Cormorant pattern, blue crescent mark to the base, c.1775.
It measures 6.2cm (2 7/16") high and 5.7cm (2 1/4") rim to rim.
Condition is good: there are two nicks to the rim. No repairs and minimal handling wear. Very nicely printed with the very fine detail showing clearly. There is a small scratch to one side which is a small fault occurring in manufacture.
