Charming, c.1800, naive pearlware model of a recumbent ram, decorated in pratt ware colours of browns and ochre under glaze. Sweet face with fetlock and nicely modelled ears tucked inside his impressive horns. Nice definition to the musculature and legs.
It measures 11.5cm (4 1/2") high, 16cm (6 1/4") long and 7.5cm (3") wide.
Condition is very good with no damage or restoration and light surface wear, good and appropriate for age and use.
