Very sweet little porcelain figure by Meissen of a young girl, barefoot on a gilded, scrolled base with naturalistic decoration, in pretty peasant clothes carrying a bundle of flowers in her apron and holding another up in her left hand. Mid 19th century, c.1860-1870.
Marked to the base including impressed number 102 and incised 9.
She measures 5 1/2" high by 3" across.
Condition is good: minor damage, she has lost the thumb and tip of little finger on her right hand and a few usual petal chips to the flowers. Surface wear is very light, the enamels are lovely and bright and little wear to the gilding.
