Sweet 18th century Derby porcelain figure of a recumbent stag lying on a grassy base with a flowering bocage behind.
Patch marks to base and incised model number. Provenance sticker from The Smalle Collection in South Africa.
It measures 3 3/4" wide, 2" deep and 4 3/8" high.
Condition is good overall with a few small points to note: a repair to the bocage and usual small chips and losses, a small chip to the tip of the left ear and loss to the small left horn in front of the antler, a small repair and glaze loss to the front right leg, 2 small glaze losses at the bottom of the base to the reverse and good quality restoration to the feet of the rear legs.
