A good quality Derby porcelain figure of a standing putto set of a scrolled footed base encrusted with flowers. He has a basket of flowers tucked over his right arm and stands against a small floral bocage. Dressed in a fancy fabric drape painted in enamels and gilt, with a flower covered chaplet and holding a posy in his hand. Well modelled and finely decorated. Possibly a putti four seasons representative of Spring. c.1760-1765.
He measures 12.7cm (5") high, 8.2cm (3 1/4") wide and 6.2cm (2 3/8") deep.
Condition is very good. He is missing the tip of his left forefinger and a few usual small chips to the petals and leaves. No restoration and minor handling wear.
