Attractive art nouveau quatrefoil lobed glass decanter with green trailed glass decoration between the lobes. Mounted with a sterling silver collar and finished with a twisted flame form stopper.

Hallmarked for Birmingham 1903, maker John Grinsell & Sons.


It measures 34.5cm (13 1/2") high and 12.5cm (5") wide. It has a capacity of 900ml / 1.5 pints.

Condition is very good; no damage bar some fritting around the bottom of the stopper. A few pin pricks to the silver. The glass has some permanent cloud marks inside which cannot be seen with any liquid inside but is visible when empty in some lights.
