A George III rectangular silver wine label with canted corners and reeded edge detail and engraved for "CLARET". Hallmarked for London 1819, original maker's marks overstruck with that of William Ellerby.
It measures 4.6cm (1 7/8") by 3cm (1 3/16") and weighs 11g / 0.4ozt.
In excellent condition.
