Attractive mid 19th century silver decanter label for "Whisky" framed with scrolls and abarbesques and an outer border of leaves and flowers against a finely ribbed textured, shaped background. Fitted with a belcher chain.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1843, maker George Unite.
It measures 4.7cm (1 7/8") wide and 3cm (1 3/16") deep and it measures 11.3cm (4 1/2") from the top of the chain to the bottom of the label. It weighs 7g/0.2ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage or repair and very light surface wear.
