Very nice late Victorian silver trophy cup very much in the George II style of plain goblet form with ribbed detail around the rim, middle and foot. Attractive side handles with scrolled decoration.
Hallmarked for London 1897, maker Charles Stuart Harris. It is free from engraving.
It measures 5 3/8" (13.5cm) high, 7 3/4" (20cm) wide and 4" (10cm) rim to rim and weighs 388g/12.5ozt.
Condition is excellent with no damage or repair and very surface wear.
