Very nice Spode coffee can and saucer in the bold imari pattern, number 967, c.1810. The saucer is marked SPODE 967 and the can has a workman's mark.
The saucer measures 13.8cm (5 7/16") wide and 3cm (1 3/16") high. The can measures 6.2cm (2 7/16") high, 6.7cm (2 1/8") rim to rim and 8.8cm (3 1/2") rim to handle.
Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and minimal surface wear. There is a small rogue dash of red enamel just inside the rim.
