A very stylish Worcester coffee can of the Flight, Barr & Barr period c.1820-1825. Dainty angled handle with acanthus moulded cap, the straight sided can is boldy decorated with a very dark mazarine blue and lots of gilding. Ornate leaves hang from the rim with feathered vein detail, in between long gilded drop decoration with fine bands of blue and gold to the lower half, around the foot and rim and further gilded detail around the handle. Impressed mark FBB under a crown.
It measures 6.5cm (2 1/2") high to the handle, 6.5cm (2 1/2") rim to rim and 8.5cm (3 3/8") rim to handle.
Condition is very good with no damage or restoration ad very light surface wear.
