Finely painted with garden flowers and insects in bright enamels and encrusted with finely modelled flowers in the "Coalbrookedale" style. Mottled green ground split handles to represent branches and the body highlighted with gilded detail.

Referenced in Coalport 1755-1926, Messenger, plate 164 and Coalport & Coalbrookedale Porcelains, Godden, plate 216.

It measures 10cm (4") high with cover on, 13cm (5 1/8") wide across the handles and 9cm (3 1/2") rim to rim.

Condition is very good with no body damage or restoration. The usual small losses to some of the petals and a little rubbing to the gilding in places.
