Pretty late 18th century Caughley porcelain fluted tea bowl decorated in "Dresden flowers" style with underglaze blue and gilding, c.1785-1790. Floral sprays dot around the outside and the inside has a pretty band of garlands and droplets festooned from the rim which is also gilded and a band around the foot. This gilding is well documented as likely having been outsourced to Chamberlain's at Worcester. Unmarked.
It measures 8.5cm ( 3 3/8") wide and 5cm (2 1/2") high.
Condition is very good with no damage or restoration and very light surface wear, just a tiny bit of rubbing on the rim tips.
