Very stylish early George V silver cream of unusual form with high sweeping spout with gadrooned rim. Round bellied body with pretty art nouveau organic style cast pedestal foot. A leaf terminal at the rim leads to a Georgian style scroll handle with feather cap thumb rest, and a matching cast leaf sits decoratively under the spout.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1913, maker's mark for Samuel Walton Smith & Co.
It measures 10.5cm (4 1/8") high, 13.5cm (5 1/4") spout to handle and 7cm (2 3/4") wide. It weighs 181g/5.8ozt.
Condition is excellent with no damage or dents and light surface wear including lovely clear hallmarks.
