Lovely slipper shaped copper ale muller unusually with a long turned wood handle fitted into an extended copper tube fixing. Mid-late 19th century with maker's or owner's initials E.L. engraved into a shaped cratouche on the side. It has a pouring lip and brass hanging hook. Nice decorative piece or could be used as a bit of fun for warming mulled wine or cider over the fire or bonfire!
It measures 44" long, the muller piece is 11" long, 5" wide and 5" high.
Condition is very good: a few minor dents to the copper but no holes or leaks. The wooden handle has taken some knocks and has surface marks but not surprising given it's role over the years.
