Sweet and unusual Victorian cayenne pepper bottle with silver spoon and holder by Levi & Salaman. Octagonal glass bottle fits inside an embossed silver holder with handle decorated with flowers and foliage and a small cherub mask. The spoon has a stepped octagonal finial, what appears to be the original cork and gilded bowl.
Matching hallmarks for Birmingham 1897.
The whole measures 2 3/8" high and 1 5/8" wide including handle. The spoon measures 2 1/8" long and total silver weighs 12g.
Condition is very good with no damage to any piece and very light surface wear for age and use.
