A stylish Chamberlain's porcelain coffee can of tapered shape with double ribbed spiral fluted moulding and shaped handle, c.1800. Underglaze blue border hand gilded with a barley ear pattern. The outside is decorated with stylise gilt sprigs. Pattern number 273 painted in puce to the base.
It measures 6.5cm (2 1/2") high and 6.5cm (2 1/2") across the rim.
Condition is excellent with no damage, repair or restoration and minor handling wear.
