An attractive Worcester porcelain fluted tea bowl, c.1780, decorated with underglaze blue scrolls and fine feathery gilded leaf sprigs. Further gilt detail running in fine bands around the foot and in the centre of the bowl a solid blue circle. Unmarked.
It measures 8.8cm (3 7/16") wide and 5.3cm (2 1/16") high.
Condition is very good with no damage or repair. There is some handling wear to the gilding, most of the gilt dentil rim has been rubbed and the tips of some of the feathery fronds have also faded.
