A very nice pair of early George V silver candlesticks of circular shape with octagonally faceted knopped stems and engraved detailing around the bases and up the stems along the lines of the facets. Fitted with removable nozzles. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1911, makers Fordham & Faulkner, the nozzles with matching marks.
They measure 21cm (8 1/4") high and 9.8cm (3 7/8") wide. They are weighted, total weight being 655g.
In excellent condition with no damage, dents or repairs and very light handling wear; the marks and engraving are nice and crisp.
