Lovely pair of German sterling silver 3 sconce candelabra, c.1930s formed with organic style wrythen sections. The sconce cups are also all silver bar one which has been replaced with an identically shaped silver plated one. They have a thin metal plate under the base but are not weighted.
Marked with The German standard marks, 925, "STERLING" and the makers initials ABC for A. Betz & Co., Schwaebisch-Gmuend. The silver sconce cups are marked 925.
They measure 27cm (10 1/2") high 29.5cm (11 1/2") wide and 14cm (5 1/2") wide across the base. They weigh 1000g (minus the plated cup)/32.2ozt.
Condition is very good. There is a small dent to the upper part of the base of one which is sincerely difficult to see due to the patterning. They both stand well and surface wear is very light and the marks are nice and clear.
