An attractive Coalport teacup and saucer in the adelaide shape with a silver grey enamel ground with large white reserves very well painted with flowers, probably by Thomas Dixon. Finely ornamented with gilding and a bold gilt frieze running around the outside of the cups. Pattern number 2/813, c.1832.
The saucer measures 14.6cm (5 3/4") wide and 2.5cm (1") high and the cup measures 10.6cm (4 3/16") rim to rim and 5.3cm (2 1/8") high to the rim.
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and minor handling wear.
