Late 17th century brass bed warming pan with pierced and punch decoration of a large central sun, inner and outer double circular bands and small roses in between the sun points. Hinged on a cast iron base with copper rivets and a cast iron handle.
It measures 42" long and the cover is 13" wide.
Condition is good: a few small splits around the edges of the brass and a split in the base pan. Some surface rubbing has faded some of the decoration.
