SOLD

A pretty Bow porcelain fluted dessert dish very finely painted with large sprays of English flowers and with a gilt dentil rim. Anchor and dagger mark in red enamel to the reverse. c.1770,

It measures 20cm (7 1/8") wide and 3.2cm (1 1/4") high.

Condition is very good: there is a small shallow chip to the foot rim and a very small amount of discolouration to the inside of the foot rim. Some wear to the gilding and fridging to the glaze at the rim. Minor surface wear; the enamels are very good for a fluted design with very little wear even to the high relief areas.
