Stunning American sterling silver pierced tazza by the Woodside Sterling Co. dating from c.1920. Super pre-deco geometric design of concentric rings of priced curved squares resembling a spider web. Set on a low foot it could be used as a card tray or as a comport or bread basket.
Marked to the back with maker's mark, Sterling and model number 3229.
It measures 10 1/8" wide and 1 1/4" high, and weighs 279g/9.0 ozt.
Condition is excellent with just a bit of surface wear from age and use.
