Very nice set of early George V silver asparagus tongs in the Old English Pattern. It has hand pierced ladder style blades andthe original detaining guard.
Hallmarked for William Hutton & Sons, Sheffield 1911.
The measure 9" (23cm) long, 1 3/4" (4.5cm) high and the blades are 1" (2.5cm) wide. They weigh 141g/4.5ozt.
Condition is very good with no damage or repair. Light surface wear appropriate for age and use. The hallmarks are perfectly clear.
