A pretty Worcester porcelain coffee cup painted in a variation of the Scarlet Japan pattern with alternating orange and gilt panels white mons and oriental floral sprays in the three other panels in a famille verte type palette rather than the more usual kakiemon colours. Red mons decorate the inside walls and a red outlined white mon inside the base. c.1770
It measures 5.8cm (2 5/16") high and 5.5cm (2 1/8") rim to rim.
Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and minimal handling wear.
