Fabulous early Derby trumpet frill vase, c.1760, with reticulated rim dotted with flowers and grooved body set with 2 lovely mask faces on opposing sides, surrounded by flowers. A multi-layered 'skirt sits around the lowers half and further open petalled flowers above and small flowers around the base. Lovely bright enamels in puce, orange, yellow, green, teal and black.
It measures 6 1/2" high and 4 3/4" wide.
Condition is very good; there are a couple of fine hairlines in the lattice, please see the final photo, and a few petal chips. Otherwise, no damage or restoration.
