18th Century Derby Porcelain Vase Of Flowers c.1765

An early Derby porcelain ornamental vase filled with porcelain flowers and leaves. The pot is slightly flared with moulded horizontal bands picked out in gilt with scattered butterflies painted in enamels. c.1765.

Reference: Ceramics of Derbyshire 1750-1975 by Bradley, plate/item 123.

It measures 13.3cm (5 1/4") high and 9cm (3 1/2") wide.

In good overall condition: there has been some restoration to the bottom part of the pot and also to the very top of the floral arrangement. Some small chips to some of the petals and leaves.
