Pretty mid 18th century Derby porcelain "spectacle" plate with decorative moulded edge and applied yellow daisy flowers with puce centres. The centre is painted in enamels in the style of the "cotton-stem" painted in puce, orange, yellow and green on purple stems. Brown enamelled rim.
It measures 19cm (7 1/2") wide and 1.8cm (3/4") high.
Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Light surface wear; just a couple of small spots of wear to the enamels and daisy flower centres. The rim enamel is also rubbed a little at the very edge.
